« Efficient management of the research lifecycle, from proposal development and evaluation to execution and technology transfer, is an essential ingredient for a successful innovation enterprise in top research institutions. UGF fulfills this crucial role for UM6P and for the Moroccan R&D ecosystem. Since its establishment, this entity has placed the researcher (faculty, scientist, student) at the center of its efforts through the development of research and technology transfer funding programs, the establishment of merit-based and transparent evaluation processes, the engagement of researchers and industrial partners in finding solutions to address Moroccan and African socio-economic challenges, and through an effective process for the execution of the proposed research (e.g. hiring highly qualified personnel, equipment and supplies acquisition, contracting, reporting on milestone and deliverables).»
